Newsflash: Abandoned Bar

Has anyone ever bought abandoned commercial buildings? I’m trying to figure out what I need to do to get my hands on an abandoned bar in Texas. I’ve searched every record I can find for an owner, but I obviously want to be thorough. What are some more ways I can locate that owner? What do I do if there just isn’t one? I know there’s something to do with finding property tax records but I am…so incredibly new to this situation. I need to be spoken to like I’m five lol
