Newsflash: Listing estate agent submitted offer…

So we’re selling property… listing agent made an offer on the house right after contract was signed. Apparently was her intention to do so. When setting the price (before we knew she wanted to buy) she argued against what we wanted….her offer was exactly what she wanted to list it at and what she thought we should make on it. I realize this is legal in PA …where we live… but can’t help but feel it’s a little shady. I’d like an independent appraisal… do I have to disclose this to the agent/potential buyer? Is there a way to get out of this contract to list with someone else? Other issues have come up… things we didn’t know before listing with her… small community. Also question her ability to represent us and herself at the same time … and other interested buyers. Any thoughts?
