SiL just bought a house in southern CA. After they moved in, they found out the house used to have a pool, but the prior owners filled it w/out removing it. Never disclosed its existence in the transaction.Is there any recourse for someone failing to disclose this or are they just out of luck here?*clarification, the pool wasn’t removed, it was filled in with dirt. Hence its now a problem since its holding all the rainwater too.
