Newsflash: Deceitful Disclosure

Purchased a house in 2022 from a local LLC. Unbeknownst to us til well after a month of moving in, we had purchased a ‘ tainted ‘ property. A triple murder suicide, with an attempted murder of a sheriff’s deputy had occurred in 2006. The seller, local LLC (as in shares the same street address as the property purchased as their own residence) failed to disclose the murders AND a lawsuit against the estate that was pursued by the parents of one of the slain children’s friend, as they were present during the events that night. We had to relocate for employment and now we are unable to sell or even lease due to locals posting the history ( that we now have to disclose to all potential buyers, unlike the LLC) on any listings our realtor shares of this property. The LLC and listing agent/broker all know the history yet decided to not disclose to give it a fresh start. The LLC has personal relations that connect them to various agents at the listing office. We already have a list of lawyers to contact, I’m just curious to see if we have a chance at gaining a productive resolution to this. We were completely blindsided and it caused myself to fall into a major depression. That, and the kids that were executed by their parent, were the same ages/genders as my kids at the time of their departure. I’m furious we were lied to, even more so now that if this can’t be resolved we’re faced to continue to budget and pay for an empty house or foreclose on a $400k property. Any insight on this is greatly appreciated. We’re in Texas should that matter.
