My house is in “preforeclosure”, and TBD on an auction site. I’ve recently received a phone call/text from a realtor who wants to give me a price to buy the house as is. I still owe on the mortgage, and the price is higher than what I owe. Is this a scam or do realtors actually buy houses without seeing them? Or they give me a price but the Then lower it before signing a contract for as is? house is in disrepair, which is why I don’t live there, it’s literally falling apart. Can someone shed some light on this kind of situation?
