Newsflash: Should I try to get PMI dropped now or wait?

Hello,We bought our home about 2 years ago for $450,000 in CT and put a minimal down payment on it, The loan was for $436,000. Since then we’ve paid off $16,000 of principal so we owe $420,000. Our Zestimate, and credit karma value estimate for the house is around $550,000, and realtor.com estimate is around $510,000. If even the low estimate is correct we’d have about $90,000 of equity on a $420,000 debt which is over 20% LTV so our PMI should be able to be removed. My question is, is it worth trying to get our house reassessed now to drop our PMI, or are the numbers too close and too likely to not make the cut and end up wasting our time / money on the assessment fee?
