Newsflash: Question regarding land surveys – no tree location, impervious surface calculations or underground utilities

Hi all, We are in the process to purchase a new home and are trying to arrange for a land survey. The survey company stated that their survey is a “Metes & Bounds land survey with no tree location, impervious surface calculations or underground utilities”. I am wondering if this is the standard survey that most people do when purchasing a new property?Thank you
