Newsflash: Is it really that easy to get a real estate license?

So i come from a blue collar background, recently while researching good paying trades to get into that dont require college, i learned about being a real estate agent. It got me interested because the classes and cost are much less than any of the blue collar licenses. .Is it really just the class and the state exam and thats it? I can start looking for job opportunities after that? I understand that getting licensed is simply the first step and does not guarantee success or even a job. But still, is it really that easy to get the license? I want to get the license so i can get an intership and start learning
