Trying to understand. After the inspection, it was determined that the wiring in the main panel. Here’s what the report said:8.2.2 – Main Panel & wiringWIRING – MULTI-STRANDED ALUMINUM2 BREAKERS: ONE 40 AMP 240 VOLT AND ONE50 AMP 240 VOLTA high-amperage breaker is wired with multi-stranded aluminum wiring. This is not a code violation. The buyer should contact their homeowners insurance company to determine whether this is insurable. We have been trying to find an insurance that will take us, but none of them will take us with this type of wiring. We talked to the owner and we added this to the addendum for them to change it, and they agreed to change it. They signed the papers and got an electrician. After the electrician came, they are not refusing to change it and are instead asking us to get our own electrician to change it. Wouldn’t they be legally obligated to fulfill the agreement they signed themselves? I’m not sure what to do next.
