Newsflash: Should I be worried about stairstep crack?

During my inspection, the inspector said these are normal and just cosmetic (AZ) I didn’t think about them for another second. However I am now seeing posts about cracks like this being foundation issues. The crack is thin, on an outside wall from the window to the floor. There is another one in the backyard wall, but it is not connected to the house.
