Received a notice saying that the watershed that’s behind property was ours. The letter says scheduled him for some benefits, are determined by the board have been filed and are available for inspection in the office of the surveyor this raises our property taxes. At the bottom of the letter it says that the total estimated annual maintenance is 270,858. The home was purchased in 2020. It raised property taxes less then $30. Am I responsible for the estimated annual maintenance as well because the Home was purchased for only 174k We are attending a hearing soon about this because we have never been notified. What benefit does is give me? Has anyone ever had experience in this area?
