First home buyers here. We’re debating between 2 homes that we love. One of them has perfect location, nice neighborhood and is close to everything. It is a very nice house, however has a small backyard and curb appeal isn’t the greatest (so we’re worried about resale value). The second house we love more because it has a big backyard and bigger rooms and it’s just nicer. But it is further away, and with traffic my commute would be 40 mins (right now I’m at 20 and with house 1 it’d be about 15). We don’t have kids or pets and are somewhat still young lol, and we love being close to everything, but are wondering if we should give location up for a house we love slightly more than the other one. They’re both around the same price. Advice?
