Newsflash: What’s the minimum amount of days I’d need to give my roommate to tell him I’m moving out? (OH)

I really don’t like my roommate. He’s not a great person. But I was wondering if I could just leave without saying anything or if I’d need to give him 30 days or something before I move out, as I’m wanting to admittedly be a bit petty. I am not on the lease but it is documented that I live in the apartment with him.
