Newsflash: Should I buy title insurance a few years after closing?

I bought a home 3 years ago and am not sure if I bought owner’s title insurance at the time. It seems like we did title search according to the closing doc. I didn’t have any problem living last 3 years.Can I still buy owner’s title insurance at this point? Is it worth it? I wonder if it makes the selling process easier in the future.
