Newsflash: House in TX not selling

Hi everyone, my mom’s house is for sale in Fort Worth, TX since December 2023 and apparently it’s not selling? Is this normal, are people no longer eager to buy homes in Tx? Since my mom doesn’t speak English it’s my sister doing all the communicating with the real estate agent so it’s hard to know what’s going on, I finally contacted the agent today to ask what’s the feedback from the buyers. The house is posted on Zillow, address 4900 Meadow Trails Dr, Fort Worth, Tx 76244It’s $400,000 for a 2 floor, 4 beds, 4 bath, 3,462 sqft house on a 5580 sqft lot built in 2005. Is that unreasonably priced? There’s more expensive homes per square footage in the neighborhood though, do buyers care about these facts? We are questioning wether it’s the seller but supposedly once you enter a contract you can’t break it? Is this true, can we change the seller? The price has been lowered every month since January. Any feedback? Thank you!
