Newsflash: Earnest money question

We put a 2k towards a house contingent on the home inspection and after the home inspection there were a lot of problems we don’t want to deal with as first time home owners as roof is 20 years old, furnace is 18 years old, ac unit is old and wasn’t even working. We keep telling our realtor we want to back out but she keeps saying those are not defects and considered normal ware and tear. How can we get our earnest money back as I don’t feel like the realtor is helping much more like she trying to push a quick sale. This is in Wisconsin if that matters at all.
