I have 28 acres in an area that no one is selling. It’s a hot market due to the school system. Nothing stays up in the school district long at all. Acreage is selling for 20k an acre. I have a contractor interested in my property because there aren’t many parcels that large left that aren’t agriculture. What is there, isn’t being sold. They are selling new construction homes crazy high so developing a community would be very profitable. Is it farfetched for me to try for 30k an acre? I know it’s 10k over what is currently selling but there are plenty of builders and still serious room for profit on a planned community. It’s also a lot large enough that the likelihood of them finding another is very slim. I wanted an unbiased opinion on this, let me know what’s on your mind reddit.
