My dad owns our home whose mortgage is still being paid off. We’d like the legal ownership of the home to transfer from my dad to my sister but want to avoid paying a lawyer or taxes on the transaction. Is there any way to do this?We don’t really care who twchnically keeps paying for the home since the money is coming out of our family business profita regardless. The current owners of the deed is a collection agency (SPS) who bought the loan from bank of america. Any advice?Thanks!
