Newsflash: As an Agent or Buyer do you find this practice slimy?

I’m in Southern California and i’ve seen a few listings like this where it says “Reviewing offers in 15 days 06/30/2017” and has a ridiculously low price in order to start a bidding war.Other examples This Reviewing offers in 53 hours and 26 minutesSaturday at 4:00 PMAs a buyer this just seems so slimy to me – the seller has to have SOME idea of what they want and what they can get for the house – but want to squeeze every last dollar out of you.As a seller – I dont know that I would ever let my agent do this with my listing – comp it out and decide on a price to list it for!Thoughts?
