Even though there’s speculation about his credibility, many RE Investors recommend the series for being very inspirational and eye opening in a way (including Biggerpockets guest speaker investor Seth Mosley). There aren’t many specifics, which honestly is beneficial as it serves to motivate (in addition to every deal being scenario and location specific). And what I have gotten from many successful people in REI is to not spend all your time reading/studying hypothetical situations but to actually go out there and close a deal given you’ve done the proper hw on the property (including things like cash on cash ratio, tenant outlook, etc)…therefore why are the more technical books recommended? Rich dad series tells an interesting story with great advice given you apply it to the right context.Even if your first deal doesn’t pan out, you are familiar with the process and can make adjustments for the future.Just a thought, I’m open to anyone’s opinions.
