Newsflash: Pre-drywall inspection report

I’m getting ready to line up a pre-drywall inspection for a paired home we are having built. The inspection company I was thinking about going with said that since it’s a pre-drywall inspection, they don’t create any type of report like what’s normally done on regular home inspections. They said basically it would be up to us to take notes on anything that they found and then we’d present our notes to the builder if there’s anything we wanted addressed. Is this typical for pre-drywall inspections–that they don’t prepare any type of report of their findings? I’m just wondering if this is specific to this company and I should look elsewhere.
