Newsflash: Are there any legit reasons for a seller to decline a home warranty?

So, I am super close to closing on a house right now. We had the inspection, and nothing major came up, but I still requested that the sellers fix most of the minor things (I would guess that the total cost of everything would at most be a couple hundred dollars). They agreed to most everything, but have now twice declined a home warranty. After they declined the first time, I went back and asked again for it but allowed them to exclude the pool (since I plan on tearing it down at the end of summer), which should save about 100$ or so. And they still declined. To me, that seems a bit concerning that this is the one thing they won’t budge on. Are there any legit reasons that they really might not want to offer this?
